Lyndel’s career spans more than 20 years, commencing as an educator in Family Day Care. Educating and caring for children in a small group from home began a passion for creating natural environments that could encourage children to take risks and be curious, inquisitive learners. This took Lyndel into a role where she could support other educators in Family day Care. Eventually managing a service during a time of change where the EYLF and MYTOP Frameworks were introduced into the curriculum.

These Frameworks reflected Lyndel’s philosophy of providing natural, stimulating environments where children can be responsible for their own learning using the environment as the third teacher.
